Used for faculty to meet online with their students.

Main challenges right now are returning to more on-prem classes and meetings. Training for users to be more confident with the Cisco Rooms. And getting the Cisco Rooms more agile for use with MS Teams.
Hybrid is interesting, again it is connecting the on prem attendees with the online attendees. The biggest challenges are getting users trained and comfortable with the technology in the meetings rooms. Making the experience easy for the host and attendees is a challenge. Some users find it difficult to find their host key.
We are using both MS Teams and Webex Meetings to meet the needs of our staff and students.

There are many opinions at our college about which is better. I would not be able to evaluate this, we continue to use both.

Well suited for one to many presentations, smaller meetings and connecting in-person conference room with online attendees.
Harder to use for classes with many attendees.

Webex Meetings Training

  • No Training
We may have received training prior to my working with this product. It is fairly easy to pickup, however find all the options that are available to use takes a bit of practice. I would recommend taking training whenever it is available. It will give you a head start with the product.
