Use Cases and Deployment Scope

This year is the first time I have used Acquia DAM (Widen). My previous employer did not have such a great source of storing files! I use Acquia DAM (Widen) for all documents, artwork, ads, and anything I create to store. I also use Acquia DAM (Widen) to link to my creative cloud programs to make linking photos 10x easier. I have enjoyed using this in the short 4 months I have been introduced to it.

Pros and Cons

Helps organize files by portals
Make sharing files/artwork with others easy
Provides extra storage of all artwork that can be easily accessible

Versioning sometimes takes a while to update

Not really sure as I'm using this for artwork purposes

I have only been using this for four months, and so far I am loving this. I am fortunate to have gotten a new job to learn all about this.

DAM System Solution

The DAM system really is only used by me for artwork purposes. As a creative professional it has come in handy for sending files/artowk to my colleagues and vendors outside of the office. It is really a great tool.

Based on how my previous employer stored files, this way is much more efficient and effective! On top of that you wouldn't have to worry about losing all of your files and everything is always secured by being shared through linking. It's really great and a game changer.
