Overall Satisfaction with Wistia

We use Wistia to host videos and track user engagement on our website.

Pros

  • Easy to use, manage and administer.
  • First time we've had quality data on how users (including what users) actually engage with our videos.
  • Integration with Pardot. We track the reports constantly and assign prospects to lists and automation rules.

Cons

  • The integration with Pardot is limited. The data is great, but it's a manual process to act on it. You cannot run any type of automation rules based on video play or specific actions such as percentage of play. This means creating an automation (i.e. completion action, automation rule, segmentation, etc) is not available.
  • We have not monetized the solution, but the visibility to know which prospects (in Salesforce.com) are viewing videos really aids our sales process. We know who has watched a video (and which videos) before we get on a sales call.
Transition your videos from YouTube to Wistia. You'll create a better user experience, better branding for your business, and gather useful data. Anyone embedding videos on their site is a good candidate for this software.
