Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

I use Wrike to communicate my needs to our Creative team and our Marketing Operations team. I also use Wrike with my team to manage projects and monitor our customer emails through a calendar. This really helps us to have transparency into what is happening in our organization and allows us to stay organized.

Pros

  • I love using Blueprints to create recurring projects (ex. Monthly customer newsletter).
  • I really like their customer support- they are really communicative!
  • The onboarding process is really solid. I came out of it with a strong knowledge of the product and was then able to help onboard fellow team members.
  • The knowledge base is also really great! That's the first place I go for an answer to a question.

Cons

  • Wrike is really robust so it can sometimes be a challenge to manage the calendar (both personal and shared calendars). I'm not sure what could be done to fix that, though.
  • I wish there was a quicker way to get to the Knowledge Base from Wrike, rather than having to click through multiple items to get to it.

  • It has vastly improved communication within our team.
  • It has saved time by keeping projects on track/making sure things don't fall through the cracks.
  • It's helped our team to streamline requests/project management into one platform.
Asana is great too, but our team decided to move to Wrike. I will say, Asana is more user-friendly if you don't have time to invest in learning the product. But Wrike is much more robust and allows you to do so much more! You just have to commit the time to learn.

Wrike is perfect for a team that is managing lots of different projects. The Spaces make it easy to differentiate between each team. It's perfect for a marketing team or a team that is managing a lot of different projects. It's a really robust product, so I definitely recommend teams invest the time into learning how to use Wrike. Otherwise, I can see people getting frustrated and not buying into it. But it is a fantastic product, and I really do enjoy it because I know how to use it!
