We use Xactly for tracking of commissions and ensuring that things are done on time in a structured and timely fashion. The software is intuitive and gives a clear picture of payouts. The best part is its integration with different CRM systems.

We use different metrics and strategies to benchmark our sales compensation data combined with industry practice, geography, role of the seller.
Data from xactly is used as an input to gauge the right quota for territory and also helps in aligning our recruitment targets in order to manage achievement to quota ratio. The historical data in exactly helps us in understanding patterns and also using that as an input for forecasting for future hires and payouts.
The integration with Salesforce makes it easy for different user personas to seamlessly use Xactly. This also entails that our opportunities that are closing are synced in real time to Xactly for an up-to-date visibility.
The commissions team, sales analytics team, HR team and sales team use the software day in and day out to track activities and also plan for future.
