Overall Satisfaction with Xero
Xero is used to manage expenses within the organization. There are 3 main teams that use the software; Operations, Sales & Marketing and Account Management. All 3 teams are regularly out traveling to events or to visit clients. Processes have been set up to ensure that claiming expenses is a quick and easy process. Employees take a photo of their receipts immediately after expenditure and log the expense under the relevant codes, set-up by the finance team. At the end of the expense period (for us a calendar month) all receipts would be submitted for approval and payment.

- Simplifying and streamlining the user interface could enhance the overall user experience.
- Introduction of AI to automate data entry by extracting information from receipts
- Reduced errors caused by human error
- Allowed for more accurate forecasting
- Reports make it easier to monitor and manage ongoing budgets
Using the cloud has meant more flexibility and improved access for the accounts team. Covid saw the organization move away from fixed locations with a fully remote workforce, working in the cloud meant there were no limitations on different teams and access from multiple locations.
