Overall Satisfaction with Zoom

All the employees within our company are remote; Zoom allows us to come to a common meeting space for updates, sharing ideas, new memos that’s need to be discussed and more. The other branches within our company and the umbrella company we work for, uses Zoom as a way for communication within the company that is spread over many states.
  • Creates communication opportunities even across different time zones.
  • Their customer service, if issues do arise, is quick, professional, and on point.
  • Great recording options, to refer to later when you need to compare meeting notes.
  • Connection process isn’t always easy to familiarize yourself with for every user.
  • Large users in a video meeting can sometimes create laggy video quality
  • A Bluetooth connect ability option would be great because occasionally, wired connects causes issues.

It’s easier to use than free conference call in the sense alerting coworkers of a meeting that they will be attending through Zoom. The quality of the call is also much higher with Zoom, both audio, video, and screen sharing abilities seem to function better as a whole. We often use screen sharing and there is less need for zooming in from both parties.
Zoom is really helpful for those type of businesses that employee remote employees. It allows for a space we can still feel like we’re working within the same office space. It would be helpful to work on the quality when there are more than just a few people attempting to be in a meeting at a time, as those meetings can sometimes feel laggy.
