Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo

We are using it across the sales and business development department in the US. As an international company operating in the US, we found customer base and behavior very different from other regional markets. Therefore, a high quality and cost-effective database tool becomes essential. We use Zoominfo to filter out customer segments so that we can ground-start US business with a much-focused customer group.
  • Comprehensive coverage of industry, location, and company profiles
  • Intent and scoops add more granularity to the search
  • International data looks good
  • 1000 credits per head in the bundle is too limited for hunter's team
  • About 30% bouncing rate, which is a waste of money
  • Intent feature is not well integrated with advanced search
  • Expensive
  • Grown of our database
  • Decreased time to reach key influencers and decision makers
  • Decreased employee efficiency if you don't pay a lot
  • Pricey
ZoomInfo has better international data coverage than SalesIntel. Otherwise I don't think they are much different. Given the price both companies quoted, we found less value of these tools if we don't spend a fortune.

I use ZoomInfo simply because my company pays for it.
If we do not need to take care of the cost, I would give a score of 10, as the software does its job.

I didn't feel Zoominfo and its rivals have much different - they try to rip you off by selling essential data you need.
