For the price, having all of these features is amazing. If you have separate divisions and want to not have a ton of crossover with calls this is a great setup. It isn’t a great setup if you need only one phone since it doesn’t make sense since you won’t use most of the features.

CloudTalk

In our case, we use CloudTalk for making and receiving calls via integration with our platform. It is probably one of the best VoIP services I have encountered so far and it is very well suited for our scenario. Call quality is amazing, the platform is snappy and responsive and I would highly recommend to anyone in the customer service space looking for a robust contact center solution with a reasonable price tag.

CloudTalk

  • The service is unusable right now because it's always down. CloudTalk has oversold their service to too many customers on too few servers (as admitted on an email from their CEO to all their customers). We've lost all functionality for days - crippling our customer support team

I must say that the flexibility of this tool is amazing. I can see all the necessary details about the calls and available agents at one place, including reports, SLAs and other metrics I need to work with. The interface has a very nice modern design, which is easy to use and very intuitive.

If you get less than 4 phones you fall into the online only customer service. There were a couple of times that I could have used more assistance but figuring it out online was a bit of a hassle.

I love 8x8. Having not used Polycom phones before, the hardest part was learning how to set up and use the actual phones. 8x8 makes it a seamless transition from using other service providers. Their customer service is excellent although if you get their cheapest plan you will only get online assistance.

  • CloudTalk has crippled our customer support team. The return on investment has basically been upset customers because they can't get through to us for assistance because the app and CloudTalk servers are constantly down.
