Adobe Campaign
It is perfect for anybody who wants to run a highly customized workflow with many branching conditionals. We use workflows to split recipients based on different criteria and send at different times. It is also sophisticated in the ability to use javascript right in the messages to generate dynamic content. It is probably not the best tool out there for people seeking a simple solution to send static emails to a fixed list of recipients.

Well suited for a company with a larger marketing budget as this is a costly program compared to the other ESPs. If your use case is not eCommerce, you would probably be better off with a standard ESP like Drip.

- Sometimes there are an overwhelming amount of complex tasks to go through before starting a delivery campaign.
- Lots of opportunity for failure within email deliveries. Important campaign information is often hidden behind multiple tabs you need to sort through.
- Very poor in-application email editor.
- In-application reporting is not intuitive.

Once you go for Neolane you are a bit stuck with it, so we will most likely stay with Neolane. Cost of investment and training are the main factors at work here. We havesimply have invested too much in the product to stop using it after 2 years.That said, my score of 8 does not imply that the product is worthy of getting an 8 but reflects our willingness to renew.Given that upgrading to a new version will cost again a substantial sum, we most likely will keep using the current version we are on which is 6X.

Since this is used on a global scale and it is preferable to all of our brands, I cannot see us switching to a different provider. We have built years worth of contacts and templates within our current system, which saves our marketing team a lot of time when putting together future campaigns. All of them are mobile optimized which makes it even easier to work with

The support team is great. Anytime we have had a question, they were very responsive and were able to resolve our issues, general or technical, pretty quickly. We selected Adobe Campaign because we are using more products of this company and we thought that this will help connecting all our marketing tools with designers and the marketing department, but the most important reason is that Adobe Campaign workflow tools are more powerful that Mailchimp, and the Magento integration for our eCommerce products is crucial. Now Magento is also part of Adobe, so it makes all sense to use both tools.
