Agile CRM

Agile CRM is well suited if an existing customer business process is defined or drafted thoroughly. Agile allowed automating workflows and marketing to improve lead management and suppress tedious tasks so users can focus on more important matters. However, Agile CRM costs can increase significantly if you want additional features and customizations. If you know what you're doing with CRMs and marketing automation or customer contracts and management then AgileCRM is worth a try.

PipelineDeals

Pipeline Deals is a great resource to quickly implement a CRM. It is easy and fast to set up an account, import your date and start using it. Both basic and advanced users will value the tool. If you are looking for something extremely simple (like Highrise HQ), this may not be the best fit.

Pros

  • The template emails saves a lot of time and is used quite often.
  • The synchronization of contacts from Outlook to GMail and other platforms allows easy follow-up to all communications for each lead, deal and contact.
  • The integrations with websites and providers promotes encourage to explore more solutions to improve business activities.
  • The chat support is very helpful. They're patient and will answer your questions and offer recommendations to their development team to implement them as new features if it's important your business needs.

  • It allows you to create a high level of custom fields specific to your own needs. Our purpose for its use is not strictly sales, so to still be able to use it in a way that's organized and provides all the information we need about an individual is very strong.
  • Browsing through large groups is fairly simple. I can create custom filters to sift through the entire database and find a custom list of people whom I want to contact. It's very simple if you know you only want to find people of a certain type or who you contacted within a certain amount of time.
  • I like the ability to create tasks and events tied to specific individuals I'm in touch with as opposed to an unorganized To-Do list. It's easy to know when to follow-up, contact, etc.
  • The ability to BCC PipelineDeals so that all emails or communications are linked with that individuals specific file works well and could be very useful to many individuals.

Cons

  • The email builder really needs an open HTML section to allow you to easily embed code in your email.
  • It's not easy to view the complete number of contacts when over 10000.
  • More help documents on their site would make using the campaign feature better.

  • Unlike Salesforce, PipelineDeals isn't as good about tying other people's contact info and communications to a single person, for instance creating accounts for a company and then having multiple people within that company. If this functionality exists and I'm not proficient with it, I'm not clear on the best way to keep it all organized and it isn't obvious.
  • It is strictly a sales CRM, so there are many features that aren't particularly relevant outside of a sales setting, such as dollars within a pipeline or Hot/Cold markers that aren't that great of markers or notifications for the things I require.

There was a little bit of a learning curve and some bumps along the way to managing this platform, but AgileCRM appears to be responsive to any challenges that arise, which I consider to be of vital importance.

If we can integrate and easily export and clean all of our data such that it can be used for multiple purposes, i.e. outreach to guests, sending out newsletters to subscribers, doing research and tracking progress, we will definitely renew

The training sessions are very helpful, because you have specialist that is available to answer any questions, guide you and coach you on how to dominate a certain feature of the platform. That being said,Whenever I have an issue that needs to be resolved, I can send email or call a support line. I usually use the support line.

Each section of the AgileCRM platform has an instructional video that describes in detail all of the features of that section. I found this to be very instructional way to learn about each section. Whenever I had more questions, I could always schedule a conference call with a tutor..

Alternatives Considered

Agile CRM did most of what PipeDrive did, some of what Hubspot does, and a range of other stuff that I was starry eyed about at the outset. but I eventually concluded that a jack-of-all-trades was not what i was looking for. And while the support team tried, they didn't have English as their first language and weren't on my time zone so all those factors conspired to turn me off on the end.

PipelineDeals is cleaner looking than Salesforce or Cbiz and offers comparable customization. But PipelineDeals will also now be able to integrate with MailChimp, which is very good for our purposes, and while we can't get all the customization we'd like out of it, we've been able to use it for many purposes
