Aralco Inventory Management

Aralco Inventory Management is well suited for a retail operation with one or two locations that is expanding to 5+. At that point, there is small enough start-up costs and significant benefits available for this software to assist a company with the inventory and POS challenges associated with rapid growth. Aralco Inventory Management is also particularly helpful for retail companies that have complicated sales orders or a sales fulfillment time that is longer than a day or a week.

Ordoro is well suited for small and medium businesses which have more than one online sales channel with one or more warehouses. It is best suited for businesses which do not have a large budget to adopt high-end ERP software. It also important to point out that at this stage it only works with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online as well as with Xero accounting apps.

Cons

  • Lengthy set-up process that requires strong management
  • High base hardware requirements (can't be used with just a phone, for instance)
  • Inventory forecasting is not linked to any external or macro forces

  • We miss some minor features which could be found elsewhere. I do hope they will be added soon.
  • DHL integration is still lacking the ability to seamlessly print or export an invoice. According to Ordoro a solution is in the working.
  • User interface may need some improvements.

Other solutions may be more advanced or complete for certain tasks, however they are either more expensive or otherwise cover only partial operational requirements. For example, you may find a superior solution for inventory or fulfillment management, which will force you to work in two or more different systems, In addition the total cost will be usually more than you would pay for Ordoro. Some systems may be more complete than Ordoro, but at the same time too expensive for most small business. Ordoro has excellent customer service, superior to many similar, cost-effective, solutions.
