Deltek WorkBook

My recommendation very much depends on who the colleague is. I would recommend WorkBook if it is an accountant, project manager or someone similar, and if the setup is done within WorkBook and passwords, etc. are being used within WorkBook only. I would tell IT Managers to avoid the application and think twice in terms of access management etc.

  • The integrations on IT level are not great and should be improved.
  • Change of IP's that's used for logins are being changed without reporting it to super users.

Mikogo

  • It lacks some features that could be useful for providing remote technical support but it is never meant to be a remote support tool, it is a collaboration tool.
  • Can't really find anything bad to say about this product. I was never in a scenario where I thought something is not working as expected or can't find a feature or can't figure out how to do something.

Mikogo

Mikogo has simple features and is easy to use. If you don't need lots of bells and whistles and just want to screen share or video conference on a small scale Mikogo works best.Join.me & TeamViewer are a bit confusing for the novice small business person.My experience with LogMeIn has been that it's sluggish.GoToMeeting works great but is pricey for the small firm that mainly does one-to-one support/training.I couldn't get Zoom to work right.

  • We have spent a lot of time on support which is a negative impact.

You can log your time on any job; billable, non-billable, customer jobs, and internal jobs. WorkBook also keeps track of absence entries and holiday requests.
