Likelihood to Recommend I would recommend this for the ease of use and price. It is a good value for any website developer or designer to be able to create multiple websites a year with super simple coding. If you've got a way to speed up your website without using WP Rocket, then it's even better! I think this software is specifically made for someone with a coding background and would recommend that you have a background with Wordpress to make using this software even easier

What is the expertise of the development and systems administrations individuals? There should be some PHP development experience and a solid level of Apache and MySQL hosting. 3. Who will be managing the content of the site? What is their bandwidth for training? For ongoing content changes?
Read full review Pros Easy to implement different sections of a page such as images, text blocks, forms etc. There is a range of example pages available for you to change to suit your brand or to provide some inspiration It is easy to add custom CSS (or similar) Read full review Content Taxonomy: Content is managed in a tree. Though taxonomy vs folksonomy is a near-religious debate among professionals, clients seeing the system for the first time just seem to "get it" more often. Content Flexibility: Common content types such as blog posts and articles are available out of the box. However, customizing these and creating new content types is very easy. Developer Friendly: Developers need only a little PHP experience to get started. Of course being an expert doesn't hurt and opens the door for the development of custom modules. Editing in one place may accidentally affect the entire site and it is not always clear. Read full review The template language: Outputting content or doing something special with it requires use of the templating language. Myself along with other developers I have trained, found this to be one of the biggest hurdles. Layout of physical files: The system decides what settings files and templates to use based on a hierarchy of modules. The same file can exist in multiple modules and you can find yourself deep within very similar looking folder structures, causing confusion during debugging. Community: eZ has a solid set of community contributors but the gap between it and Drupal or Wordpress is pretty large. The drag and drop features make it easy to create attractive and creative webpages for even the non-website designer. I tend to give up as when I'm working on something and something goes wrong I need the help straight away. I do not have the patience to wait anymore.

I am unable to update because every time there was an upgrade or new release of the plugin it caused issues with my website's functionality which has left me stuck updating old versions that don't work anymore. With Elementor i haven't had this issue.
Read full review eZ Publish isn't as large in community size and number of installations as other content management systems. However, it's just as capable and met our needs:
Developers, system administrators, and project manager can all speak the same language during the development and maintenance cycles of a site. End-user training is very straight-forward. Vendor support is available. Client IT departments can access if need (developers/designers/sysadmins). The community is there (forums) and there are solid contributions (extensions) from both the vendor and the community. Read full review Return on Investment Elementor has made it possible for our non-profit to stand out in the non-profit space in which we operate. Our website was highly flexible and looked great, which provided confidence to our donors. Elementor has never been a weak spot in the security of our website. We've had several attempted attacks against our website and yet everything was remained locked down. We have only used the free version of Elementor, so it has kept our costs low and allowed us to have a professional looking website, but being able to put more money towards our charitable cause rather than IT.
