Likelihood to Recommend Cvent Event Management has streamlined our processes, allowing a small staff to manage our events effortlessly. From event set-up through feedback, the software integrates all elements, reducing duplication of effort. Our contact database tracks our membership, allowing us to charge the appropriate registration cost and send event emails based on registration type. Using the Attendee Hub App, we have eliminated the paper program and communicate instantaneously with our attendees. Printing the badges onsite has allowed us to keep registration open longer and gain more attendees.
Read full review If you are an organization who is hosting a ticketed event such as a concert, a block party, a 5k fun run, or anything that may require a pre event registration / ticket purchase, this product could potentially be very useful for you! My Fraternity used Eventzilla's product for our last four events including a concert, a 5k run, and 2 golfing tournaments! Using this tool, we were able to raise significantly more money than we had from previous events. Additionally, this product was exceptionally useful for the 5k because of the amount of information we needed to collect through the registration form prior to the event. Using the Eventzilla forms, we were able to discover participants' age, gender, t -shirt size, # of registrations, phone #, email, name, etc. and provide them each with an excellent, personalized experience.
Read full review Pros Registration platform can handle nearly any need. Event websites are easy to build and support customization. Support is available in multiple formats should you run into issues. There is a large user community where you can reach out for ideas and help. Read full review Managing registration and attendees. Creating landing pages, registration pages and promoting them. Automates waitlisting and approvals. Live streaming and polling. Internal in-built payment processor. Read full review Cons Allowing more in depth paths for registration questions (i.e. drill-down questions as needed) Hotel widget does not model in a user-friendly way, allowing for customer confusion and cumbersome work-arounds Flex Email customization widgets need to integrate into the emails more smoothly and be able to customize to have the same look, feel, font of the written text. At this time it does not allow for the same level of customization. Read full review Customization features for emails could be improved since most are automated reminders. Sometimes too difficult to create a simple event with loads of choices available. Many times we simply want to create a normal event without much hassle. Read full review Likelihood to Renew We are very pleased with the features that Cvent gives us. The ease of use and the immediate support when something does stump us. Cvent provides us with everything that we need to run a successful event. The only reason I did not Rate Cvent as a 10 is the cost

Read full review As, stated before, the only thing that I found to be difficult when using this software was pointing an existing domain to the Eventzilla Registration landing page. I followed all of the steps as illustrated and I continued to experience errors when trying to navigate via the domain. I could not get in contact with support and so we chose to use the extremely long Eventzilla domain. This was not a big deal, but it would have been nice to use our own domain that we purchased
Read full review Reliability and Availability Cvent does go down pretty frequently. And while it often doesn't impact day to day use usually, if it does go down at the wrong time, you may not be able to access very important event information when you need it. Usually outages do not last very long, but it could still be a very bad situation if this happens at the wrong moment

Read full review Support Rating I have very rarely needed support, but when I did, it seemed that there was an underlying push for a webinar, training session, or multiple phone calls. If I have a question or a need, that should be addressed nothing else.
Read full review Support is adequate, but sometimes has difficulty grasping all of the pieces of a question. Once, I asked for help with a relatively technical integration that we were using to track event effectiveness, and their answer left me wondering if they even understood that the feature I was asking about even existed in their system.
Read full review In-Person Training Our on-site trainer was very knowledgeable in the product and gave us very important pointers on best practices and how to perform tasks in the simplest manner
Read full review Online Training I have used the webinars and cvent community a lot to gain more knowledge. I am usually always able to find the answers I need
Read full review Implementation Rating It would have been nice during implementation if we had received more pointers on how to organize our parked report folders, libraries, etc. to avoid the mess we find ourselves in today. If we had known ahead of time the limitations we could have planned better.
Read full review Alternatives Considered Eventbrite is not able to handle the complex registration forms that Cvent can. It does not collect as much information, cannot produce the save level of reports, and does not allow for multi-leveled and/or multiple registration types within one form. Being able to offer, and compare, those is vital to determining our ROI and event planning efforts. Additionally,
Eventbrite does not provide as many customizable options or branding opportunities.
Read full review Eventzilla is a budget-friendly tool and has a very dynamic pricing model. You only pay for the features you use.
Read full review Scalability We use Cvent for many different clients and events. It's very easy to customize the experience for the event that you need
Read full review Return on Investment Positive ROI: See which registrants [participated] Positive ROI: See survey results from the feedback survey pushed at or after an event Positive: Helps us lessen time spent setting up an event, emailing, or capturing data for event staff-- which in turn means MORE events! Read full review We use it for internal events, so mostly our ownemployees join the events. These are usually fun events, so ROI is not expected. Most of the times, we are simply organizing recreational events for our employees, so it boosts the morale of the participants to have a proper organized setup for the events they attend.
