Likelihood to Recommend The value of LeanData directly correlates with:
Lead volume. Sales role complexity (AEs vs. SDRs vs. Inside Sales). Territory complexity (trying to route based on a combo of industry, geography, company size, and so on). Account complexity (selling to large corporate entities with many subsidiaries that may be "owned" by different folks in your organization). LeanData is not a valuable solution when you have a small sales team following up with a low volume of leads based on simple logic (e.g. round-robin).
Read full review I honestly cannot recommend this tool enough. Opal is such a valuable tool for brand content creators and there is nothing like it available. If you're serious about content marketing and have a need to find ways to collaborate, plan and provide more visibility among teams, then Opal really is the only way to go. One more thing that's not being mentioned: The tool is simply amazing but it's only as amazing is the team behind the tool. Their customer support and willingness to quickly be in touch when needed is a key feature within itself. Seriously, such a good team of people.
Read full review Pros Allows us to incorporate almost any filter or type of update (including "has changed" in addition to equals, does not equal, etc.) to direct leads down a path specific to our needs based on Lead Source. Allows us to manage our territory assignments relatively easily. Since our decision flow is relatively complex, LeanData Lead2Account Matching Engine can isolate and determine how a specific or a group of leads went through the flow process and where they encountered an error or unexpected behavior. This allows us to fine-tune and make sure everything is working as we expect it should. Their implementation & support organizations are top-notch! The product is excellent, but it's only realized because of the implementation team's commitment to helping me be successful. Read full review Content planning: you can look at one asset and see how it is being used across multiple channels by multiple teams. Content collaboration: it is really easy to see what other people and teams are contributing to an asset, or how they are using it. We can also duplicate content that was created by another team to use as a starting point in our own content collaboration. High level/big picture overview: Opal allows us to see content that is being created, planned and scheduled very easily; it goes beyond social content (which we can also see in Sprinklr) to show us content created across multiple channels. Read full review Cons Currently we can only troubleshoot the lasted update in the audit. If we can see the historic iterations, that would be really helpful to understand a lead's journey. Because it is so robust, stepping through some of the logic can get confusing. Read full review No publishing capabilities, for the most part. No analytics tie-ins. Rather pricey. Requires someone to really manage the structure in order to keep the tool organized and use it effectively. When this is done right, though, it's worthwhile. Read full review Support Rating The team is responsive and quick. The training process was patient and thorough. I felt confident using the tool after the two-week implementation period. The initial processing of our existing leads was painfully slow, but the team worked hard to help reduce the friction of that initial implementation process. Post-implementation, the team is helpful and responsive to the question.
Read full review Alternatives Considered Compared to SFDC out-of-the-box routing it is far superior. Giving you the ability to quickly make changes on the fly and test in a sandbox environment. The ability to troubleshoot leads and how they are routed is also a plus. Built-in email alerts also reduce the amount of technical debt in SFDC.

Percolate and it's said to be a competitor of Opal, but in reality, it's a tool I've struggled with. It's fine for day-to-day scheduling and publishing, but lacks the flexibility and functionality of Opal. Opal really feels like it was built by storytellers where
Percolate feels like it was built purely by an engineering team.
Read full review Return on Investment Using the lead routing module has cut down the time I spend making changes to the logic by 90%, while also increasing the accuracy of changes by validating them. I am now able to investigate why a lead routed a certain way in a way I never was previously, helping our business to determine any tweaks to our current set-up.
