I think the biggest issue with Deel is that it grew too fast and the quality of service diminished greatly. I hope Omnipresent does not make the same mistake!

  • Consistency - There's been a lot of turnover of staff over the past year. It would be ideal to have the same account manager for more than six months.
  • In many countries, Omnipresent uses local service providers to employ folks. In those countries, we see really long response times, and the info provided isn't always accurate or easy to understand.

Omnipresent has a good customer support system. We have been in touch before regarding an employee who needed to be onboarded as quickly as possible (outside of the minimum 2-week onboarding time frame). An issue is that there is no number to call, and we can only rely on emails, which is frustrating when you need to get in touch ASAP. Once we got in contact, they were really helpful.

We choose Omnipresent at the time due to the following reasons: 1) Cheaper. 2) Better customer service (offered a dedicated account manager). 3) Had a presence in all of the countries we wanted to hire an employee. 4) They believed speed was just important as we did when recruiting and hiring someone new. This was an important factor for us making sure we worked with a company who could get an employee signed quickly.
