PlaybookUX vs. UserBob

PlaybookUX is fabulous for ad-hoc tests with small budgets, but can also scale up to larger projects easily. I've recommended the tool to several people and they love it, too!

some specific scenarios where UserBob may be suitable is for testing delivery apps, short trip apps like uber, clothing sales apps, and banking service apps where it is less suitable is for service apps or sites legal, medical, consulting, insurance sales, sale of products for vehicles, sale of houses, sale of construction materials.

• They recruited our demographic.
• Customer support was awesome.
• Studies are very easy to set up.

• Cheap, but high quality user testing.
• Bare bones - just the basics of what you need. It lets you customize questions, customize audiences, and then see results!
• Fast.

• With other testing platforms, I can update my profile, but I'm not sure how to do it with PlaybookUX.
• It would be nice to have a login location where I can see my available tests.

• Haven't had any issues with UserBob.

Setting up a study only takes 5 mins. and you can preview a study before sending it out so you don't make any mistakes.

Very responsive when I had a technical question about a test.

Both have different set of unique features and usability.

UserTesting allows for better user segmentation that's not just based on the honor system of the user but UserBob is cheaper and it's quicker to get data back so it makes collecting data easy and fast so you can move quicker and experiment more. UserBob is great for a first audience or a general audience.
