Likelihood to Recommend Well-suited: - Core HR - Permissions Less appropriate: - Still end users, e.g. managers and employees, example initiating a requisition from position org chart - mission impossible without a user guide, too many clicks, not flowing naturally, different icons and task triggers.
Read full review I like the idea of RedCarpet. If it was fully functional for us, I really think it would be a great tool to use. However, the lack of response and the response time itself in tech support is definitely a downfall for our company
Read full review Pros Has information in one place in employee central. The workflow approval system is very good, so it is secure to ensure that incorrect data is picked up via the approval process. The time management feature is very good, easy to navigate and works effectively. Read full review Employee Task Management: Red Carpet provides a customized welcome portal and system for task management, based upon each employee's location, role, department, etc. It allows the organization to build chronological tasks to complete on the front end, which seamlessly flows through as each are completed. Streamlined Process: During the development process, it causes the employer to re-think its current onboarding process, forms, reason and timing for completing tasks, etc. This results in not only creation of electronic forms, but also an improved overall process. Monitors workflow: Through visible tasks/colors on the back end, as well as reporting features, HR administrators and Managers/Supervisors can easily see where each employee is in their new hire process. Quickly view what tasks remain incomplete, as well as if an individual/team is causing a delay in the process. Read full review Cons A more complete offering on careers sites to allow candidates to use CV and AI, etc, to find the best jobs for them and provide recruiters with open source info. Broaden out Onboarding 2.0 to allow more intelligent offerings around equipment ordering and a better day-one experience for new joiners. Read full review They have made major improvements to the user interface while we have been a customer but still have some work to do in this space. On the employee onboarding portal; some of the functionality could be more robust (ie: Broader Font Library; more customizable skin). Read full review Likelihood to Renew We have put a vast amount of time and effort into our installation- and there is more work to be done, but the system has a lot of benefits that we plan to maximize and optimize in order to generate the greatest value for everyone involved
Read full review Usability SSFF is very user friendly and intuitive even for a non tech employee. Also, there´s a complete database and community where we can find solution to common and uncommon issues
Read full review It takes a lot of training and reading up on the processes in order to use it, but once you've had a lot of trial and error, you figure out the system quickly. Once you put together a user guide specific for your company's use of the product, it's easier for new employees to use RedCarpet and understand the different functions within it.
Read full review Reliability and Availability Until now we have not had serious availability problems with SuccessFactors, we had Microsoft Active Directory and SSO with ADFS and we had availability problems but because of problems with ADFS, we migrated to Azure AD and with that the availability problems of SuccessFactors because of ADFS went away. The only windows of unavailability that we have had are those that we are communicated to do maintenance and upgrades.
Read full review Performance The performance is very good, the truth is that we have not had serious performance problems, some complex reports may take a little longer, but considering the complexity and the amount of records it is an acceptable time. We have never received a complaint from users regarding page loading speed.
Read full review Support Rating SuccessFactors Employee Central gets a middle of the road rating from me because of the things it does really well - Training. It falls short with the objectives cascade and visibility amongst my reports. That's what brings it down to a 5. Objectives need to be clear and concise in order to gain buy-in from your reports, and SuccessFactors muddies that by poor delineation between cascaded attributes and my report's objectives. The whole objectives cascade can be reworked.
Read full review Support is adequate. They are about the same, and the expected turn around time is acceptable in the industry standard. We have no complaints with customer support. The tracking system is good and allows for updates to issues, so there are generally no questions where the case may sit with engineering or application support.

Read full review Online Training We use SAP Learning, and we like it very much, the topics are updated along with the products, we have access to the SFX customer certifications and we have done them all, in general the SAP learning platform is very good and complete.
Read full review Implementation Rating As we were new with all this, we would greatly appreciate if we had assitance directly from SAP so we can implement the modules with all of its features and best practices. Unfortunately, we notice that the partner left some thing incomplete.
Read full review SilkRoad's training/demo video was viewed well prior to beginning implementation. HR Team did not remember details and the video was not sufficient enough to understand all of the features within the system in order to communicate needs to the vendor/implementation expert. Implementation should have been walked through, step by step, by the vendor and each section of their required spreadsheet and the development of the portal should have been explained in depth.
Read full review Alternatives Considered SAP success factors provided robust talent management, global scalability and strong analytics capabilities. And they provide strong user experience options and there is no limitation on customisation as is the case with Oracle HCM Cloud. It has the specific modules which the organisation desires and has strong existing integration capabilities and with existing systems .
Read full review We have previewed several onboarding platforms, but none has come close to the quality and flexibility of
SilkRoad Onboarding (RedCarpet). Prehire task management allows each department to do what they do best to prepare for the new hire's first day. Keys, computer access, and office spaces are prepared in advance, so each new hire feels valued.

Read full review Professional Services We did use this service to do analysis of the solution being implemented. It was a good check point during the project to see if everything is going as planned.
Read full review Return on Investment We can clearly outline our objectives, targets, and methods to accomplish the same, grades and reviews, and overall progress. Helps identify areas of strengths and weaknesses, constructive criticism. Increases motivation and confidence, which is then reflected in our daily work routine. Read full review Positive impact to ROI, we don't have hard numbers for overall but just in time spent on chasing paperwork I would say we save a minimum of 20 minutes per new hire and we hire 600+ people/year. We save an unknown amount on properly completed I9 forms since the system doesn't let you make errors that were always common on paper forms.
