Other conferences I've attended in the past have used similar apps, but it has been a few years and I no longer have those installed nor do I recall the names, but I will say my experience with Whova was much smoother and more effective.

I didn't select Whova it was chosen by the Symposium for me.
I like Whova best for interactive conferencing. However, I did not select it. It was selected by the NY-NJ Harbor & Estuary Program and I'm glad it was. Subsequent discussion with HEP staff has found that the platform is well worth it.

I think Whova compares well in terms of performance during events. Microsoft Teams may have the upperhand on office integration and using as a communication tool between employees.
I have used Eventbrite for ticketing for reuinons and educational workshops. It is primarily a ticketing platform and does not have the interactive features of Whova. Whova is much better suited to a multi-day conference than Eventbrite.

We've used the apps from different tradeshows - American Academy of Orthodontists Annual Session, American Dental Association Annual Session, Chicago Mid-Winter Meeting. No comparison whatsoever! They need to incorporate Whova and dump their app!
