  • Groups that utilize Jama Connect, generally have a more streamlined workflow compared to groups that don't fully utilize Jama Connect's capabilities.
  • When groups are diligent in keeping their items are kept up-to-date in Jama Connect, they have an easier time seeing the history and progression of development as well planning for the next iteration of the product compared to groups who don't.
  • Jama Connect as allowed for more consistency among groups, which is important especially in a regulated environment.

  • Positive - ROI - This is a hard estimate, but let's say we save at least 70% of email back and forth over 3 timezones using Jama in a project.
  • Negative Impact on ROI - too early to tell really since we are running Jama for a year only.

  • Jama has provided the ability to reuse requirements cross-domain which has helped streamline the requirements development process. This saves money and time.
  • Jama has increased the accuracy of our requirements definition by providing requirement templates for common nonfunctional requirements (screening requirements, maintenance and reliability, etc)

  • This is a flexible tool that can cover the need of the diverse Stakeholders in the different projects we have.
  • That it is web based increases the acceptance because of low effort needed to reach the information.
  • By using this tool customers have interest in getting them selves away from a Document centered development in to a more model/data base centered one.
  • It is easier for every discipline group to think about repositories and libraries when all the information is in one place, ready to be used by the individual projects.

  • Collaboration features have made it easier for teams to work on content without having to meet together to make progress.
