At my last agency where we used Sysomos, it was used primarily by me (manager of social analytics), and by one or two of the account managers. Typically this was not used by copywriters or senior execs. It was used by the social coordinator time to time to comply with client requests.

When we were still using Expion, we had a total of approximately 17 users. 7 of those are Community Moderators (customer care and moderation) and the other 10 were social media associates and content creators (marketing).

They use Expion for scheduling content to different channels. As mentioned, my company has over 400 local businesses, so the content varies for every location. It's easy to log onto Expion and schedule a post to multiple pages, instead of getting on Facebook/Twitter and posting separately to every page.

A good amount of people in my organization use Sysomos Expion. The majority of the users are in the Marketing Department. It is a great way for us to stay organized and really maximize our social media presence. I think many companies could really benefit from the use of the program.
