We use Brevo to send out emails to our audience. Currently the free version fits our plans, it has all the features we need to send monthly one email campaign. For now, Brevo seems to be a great alternative, we are happy to use it, there are no major issues.

Definitely, the best alternative we tried so far for sending emails. We had wix and mailchimp so far. Mailerlite we tried, but ... So Brevo makes it quite easy for us to send out one email / month. The main thing that would be nice is to have a budget option for 2-5000 emails / month, or a pay-as-you use option for small ones, who don't use 20k emails...

I use Brevo as my email service. I was with Constant Contact for many years and when I compare Brevo to Constant Contact, Brevo wins. I left Constant Contact because although I had been with them for over 10 years they showed they didn't care about my needs and had no appreciation for my customer loyalty. The recent support I received from Brevo impressed me and assured me that my decision to leave Constant Contact and join Brevo was the right choice and decision.

Brevo works for several purposes at the same time:
· Allows Email Automation's fast-paced learning
· Saves collaborators from creating HTML emails
· Makes data-filtering easier than most tools (audiences)
· Exceeds automation options than most tools we've used so far
· Integrates JS events, customer behavior, and specific scenarios to adapt meaningful touchpoints beyond the usual "visited XYZ URL or downloaded a specific resource". It allows combining triggers to qualify and score leads appropriately.
  • Fluid and intuitive inteface in all modules, which allows to complete tasks with zero stress levels.
  • Creating specific automation scenarios with multiple entry points. And it might seem trivial, but most marketing teams fail tagging MQL and SQL due to undetectable-complex customer journeys.
  • Sends notifications to the same record and to more than one recipient. It may pick recipients from field values. And also CC CCO messages to comma separated email addresses.
  • Get detailed reporting on mailservers reasons to bounce messages, from a modern, shareable report.
  • Allows flexibility when creating chatbots according to scenarios, all easy to modify and implement, triggered by events.
  • Chatbot reporting on automation stages to measure what specific options web visitors choose, and its correlation to timing and URL (section, product, or service). i.e. people tend to complain on more on Monday evenings in this URL order: 1, 2, 3.
  • Notification subject including the user account that imported, erased, exported, sent... who performed the action and the timestamp of task completion.
  • Dynamic SLAs for support, depending on the complexity of the ticket. If you could choose another language, or time zone with the purpose of accelerating the response, would be better. Today, a checkmark doesn't speed things up if you choose to receive support in a foreign language.
In terms of contacts count, helps you keep the blacklisted in your database, so there's no need to add a filtering process prior to mass imports. And I know it's silly to send mass emails to imported lists, but that's what's common in Latin America, yet Today.

If you have 10 or 10K contacts, costs don't differ if you don't send them campaigns.

We are a boutique hotel and have just started to use Brevo. We are hoping that having a communication app that can keep all guest correspondence, no matter the source (email/whatsapp/ fb messenger/instagram dm) will help us deliver a better guest experience in a way that is efficient.

To date, the support has been helpful whilst setting it up. It does seem to have a lot of features just need the time to explore, develop and create.

  • easy to link up fb, instagram etc... had no issues with integration
  • i think it has alot of features so i feel like i am not using it as much as it should as i dont know what I CAN DO with it
  • i wish there was like case studies for different industries so we can see how its applications - happy to be a sample if needed :)
  • i would go to a paid subscription if i was confident about what it can do for me but i am trailing it against other options to see what is good for me
i dont know as i have not been able to test all the features out

We use Brevo in a proof phase, understanding the functionalities and the power of the app to boost our marketing strategy. One of the main problems I historically found was how to integrate from within websites and get a straightforward and automatically fulfilled client list. What I experienced using Brevo is it has a great easy-build form tool with HTML integration in the website. No specific technical knowledge is needed. All can be done following the step-by-step help articles that guide you throughout the integration.

We mainly use Brevo for Email Campaigns to a engaged database. The ability to create Lists, segment the database to the nth degree, organise and review contacts is excellent.

The reporting data from an email send out is exceptional. The drill down detail is second to none, giving both an easy to read, quick overview and complex metrics that allow for a deep dive into the stats. In future, we may be interested in utilising additional elements available such as Conversations. Another benefit with Brevo is that you can select and pay for only those parts that are useful for your business, making it more cost effective and without being saddled with additional add ons that are of no benefit.

Interface wise, the app is easy to use with a low learning curve (particularly if you have had previous experience with, and in comparison to, other CRM or mail out systems).

In terms of cons, some functions could be labelled to make their purpose clearer and it may be better to have the option to add on other elements when selecting the different plans, so that one payment is made for all other elements you wish to use.

Brevo is well suited for anyone who is looking for a mail out system that also allows you to hold and manage records in a database, as well as utilising the latest comms technology.

The Brevo user experience of mine is intuitive and engaging, with seamless navigation. I think the layout is well-organized, allowing users to easily locate desired information without feeling overwhelmed. From the homepage to individual pages, the content is presented in a visually very good interface, enhancing the overall browsing experience. The design elements are consistent across different pages, maintaining brand integrity and enhancing brand recognition. In terms of functionality, Brevo performs admirably, loading quickly and functioning smoothly across various devices and browsers. Interactive elements such as dropdown menus, search bars, and multimedia content enhance user engagement and interaction. Overall, I like Brevo very much for campaigning email marketing.

I use Brevo for email marketing so as to showcase our services and reach to potential customers. First plan allows 300 daily emails at no charge, basically free email marketing and in most cases they reach inbox.

Also allows me to see how different campaigns perform and find out which email subject or content works better. The analytics are a big plus - open rate and click rate are very important.

Unsubscribed recipients can easily be removed for a clean list.


  • Trackable open rate and click rate - very accurate
  • Customer support is quick and helpful
  • Reasonable pricing including free plan offer
  • I'd like to see Brevo have an email bounce checker - this can be offered at a cost
  • The email content sent from Brevo tends to look a bit different than emails sent from usual Gmail or other mailservers. Maybe that aspect can be improved.
  • Wish to see an option to remove all unsubscribers via one click, rather than visiting each contact list to remove them.
For starters and beginners I would highly recommend Brevo platform.

Reasonable pricing, and has an entire suite of services to help with marketing, sales and especially newsletters due to friendly interface for managing subscribers and campaigns.

I forgot to mention Brevo has its own mailserver that sends out the emails while replies can be sent directly to our original email. This way we don't have to suffer pesky restrictions from Gmail :)

We are in a startup, Letters We Never Sent, which is basically based on users submitting letters they never sent but have locked away in their minds for years. In doing so, we sought an email SMTP provider that could meet our needs without incredible overhead costs. After reviewing and trying a few, we settled on Brevo for our testing and implementation as it seemed to answer our needs.
  • They integrate with Jotform and Zapier (critical for us)
  • They integrate with WordPress - again critical
  • Support was a bit slow but did work to solve the problem
  • Support needs to be faster. They need 24/7 support for an SMTP provider.
  • Instructions on how to use with Jotform and Zapier could be much better.
  • WordPress Integration is clear, though integration with 3rd party WP plugins needs to be better.
This is our complaint and how it was solved:
A snafu took place when we had to validate our account via phone and text message. However, it seemed that no matter what, the text code never came through. I immediately contacted support via email, and they answered. The problem was solved within 2 days, and tbh, it was really on our side, not Brevo's.The only thing I was not happy about was that support took 12 hours to get back to us each time. I think their support should be 24X7. However, all in all it was a good experience. We continue to use them.

Since my client, a non-profit organization with registered charitable status in both Canada and the US, is new to Brevo, we are currently using it as a mass email marketing platform only at this time. The organization switched from Constant Contact to Brevo a few months ago, given the latter's pricing became too high for what the organization was using CC for.

Customer support was knowledgeable, and response times were quick. Their knowledge base articles are quite detailed and accurately describe processes for implementing resolutions to issues. The customer user interface is easy to use and intuitive. All in all, my client is very pleased with the functionality that Brevo offers and also appreciates the fact that, as a non-profit, it is effectively gaining access to the same functionality it was using with Constant Contact, but for around a third of the price.

Brevo has been a high-quality, affordable option in creating a newsletter for my business and working synchronously with a small team. I did some extensive research of the options for CRM suites online, and I think Brevo is one of the best options out there. The value for the price you pay is difficult to beat, as many services charge 2, 3x or more for a similar product.Beyond the dollars, I'd like to share an interaction that especially convinced me of Brevo and it's dedication to businesses and creators. I had a rather specific question during signup, and upon submitting my query, the Brevo support team almost immediately emailed me a detailed reply that accurately answered the question. No formulaic response, no "Thank you for your request - someone will be with you in 3-5 business days" - they took the time to understand my issue and gave me a perfect explanation inside of 24 hours. That level of customer service is truly appreciated in this day and age, and it can make a customer for life. I'm looking forward to growing further on the Brevo platform!

Brevo is perfect for smaller creators or people with an audience. I believe it's also ideal for small businesses, and very likely larger businesses, too. Although I expect Brevo to grow substantially, it's nice to see them establishing a clear line of communication with their customers. I was able to ask a detailed question and receive a similarly response from a Brevo employee very quickly. With larger CRM services, that is not a guarantee. It made me feel that Brevo cares deeply about their customers and wants to create the best environment and experience for them.

I use Brevo for our monthly newsletters. Brevo makes this process seamless.
Using the platform is easy and the flow of creating a newsletter feels natural.
Support is readily available when needed and the statistics given for each sent newsletter are invaluable to plan the next newsletter.
I previously used Mailchimp and moved to Brevo when Mailchimp became a paid-only platform.
I'm currently still using the free version of Brevo, but am considering upgrading it this year.

We use Brevo to manage our mailing lists and learning pages for our white papers. We manage a news website with thousands of articles and podcasts and content is key to us as are our newsletters. We send a weekly newsletter in English and one in French on the topics that we are dealing with. We are also planning to use Brevo for marketing automation purposes later on.
  • Onboarding is fluid and effective
  • Email composition and programming is easy
  • Forms are versatile and easy to set up
  • User registration within existing email lists is easy
  • Brevo guides us with regards to compliance
  • UX can sometimes be confusing
  • Credits are billed to you but the readability is poor
  • language switching is only possible from the home page
  • Customer service is only available via email
  • rss feed setup is a real pain in the neck
We were having problems with Mailhimp for many reasons:
– MS grew to be too expensive and was billing us non-existing users (unregistered users)
– Landing pages would lead people to register for a new email list for each form with no way of setting up an existing campaign on those mailing lists or at least not easily
– customer service was poor and unresponsive
– deliverability was disastrous
– users tended to unsubscribe en masse leading to the loss of subscribers for no apparent reason
– due to poor deliverability, click rates were horrendous despite double opt in.

We use Brevo to send regular e-newsletters and other communications to our volunteers, supporters and clients, keeping them informed and offering opportunities to interact and support our charity. Brevo provides a professional looking package and allows us to project a positive image at minimal cost, whilst incorporating ways that recipients can respond to us with minimal effort or expertise.

I utilize Brevo as a platform to disseminate knowledge and raise awareness among the general public regarding sustainability-related subjects, events, and services. I also employ it as a means to effectively communicate our organisation's events, activities, and other pertinent information to our specific target audience
  • It provides easy-to use templates, therefore one doesn't need to have design expertise to use it
  • It offers 300 free emails daily and there's no limit to the number of contacts that can go into the database
  • I appreciate the feature that allows me to requeue an email campaign after it has been sent to the initial 300 recipients. This feature ensures that the email is only delivered to those who have not yet received it, eliminating the concern of a recipient receiving the same email twice.
  • It offers mobile and desktop previews letting me see in real time how the email will appear on the receiver's end
  • It would be highly appreciated if there was an option available for daily upgrade payment, specifically designed for one-time use. Currently, the platform offers monthly and annual subscription options
  • More Templates are always welcome
As of now, my experience with Brevo has been limited to utilizing it for email campaigns. From my personal standpoint, I can confidently affirm that it provides marketing communication professionals, especially those with limited or no marketing budget, with the opportunity to disseminate their messages through newsletters or blogs, completely free of charge.

Our event company Sam Inspire Cambodia uses Email marketing on Brevo as our current solution, we found it absolutely easy to use including importing the contact from Excel and the design of email content is quite easy too. The report analytics, contact management and all other technical work are done by Brevo and sit back and relax. We can even send only to those contact who engage with the mailing campaign which is a safer way for our domain.

We have done two email blasting campaign. With zero experience. We just import the mailing list directly from our contact list in Excel. Start designing the email contents and sent. in need of a good emailing company to reach my contacts and customers.
And what a pleasure to discover that the basic option has permitted to begin slowly and very economically. Now I will turn to the Business options, I mean i need an CRM connected and the option to build landing pages to display at Google Ads. Everything since the form to had signups until the CRM are totally linked. Less headaches and more productivity. I am going forward.
  • sending free 300 emails daily is great to begin when you start your business idea
  • automation of all the relation between contacts/user and the platform is ok
  • maybe more tutorials to understand the automatisation ?
I grow ip 2 lists of around 160 + 900 users on 2 sector of activity. Marketing and dating !
But the dating list is growing much more quickly , around 150 new sign ups and no worries.
Everything went smoothly. No worries to create quick forms and get the first sign up.
All is correctly tracked.

I use Brevo as part of my self-employed activity for the management and promotion of the websites that I develop for my clientele which is quite varied: craftsmen, associations, small businesses in all sectors as well as individuals. Brevo allows me to create and manage targeted email marketing campaigns, enabling effective communication with their target audiences. I also use automation features to send messages in response to visitor actions on websites, helping to increase visitor engagement and convert more prospects into customers. Tracking statistics allows me to analyze results, identify what works best, and make adjustments to maximize returns on investment. In addition, Brevo is located in France and that reassures my customers about the use of their data. In summary, Brevo is one of the basic tools of my work and serves me enormously!

  • A "campaign" rate to send a large campaign to more than 5000 contacts a few times a year
Brevo is always very useful (an association that wants to promote its festival, an individual who wants to inform their contacts when their site is updated, a craftsman who wants to send an automatic message following a quote request, etc.) , except in the case of customers who are very far from digital (elderly people in particular), but these people more and more often have mobile phones so I will perhaps try SMS campaigns.

Acting as the CTO of my tech startup here in Cameroon, with limited finances and a very limited technology evolution, i have to shoulder a lot on myself. I use Brevo to set up an SMTP service for using mailing for my company website after i managed to get a .tech domain for free via GitHub students. I am very much grateful that Brevo was able to offer such a feature cost free. I look forward to exploring their other services, hopefully when my company can afford any of it. Thank you team Brevo!!!

Based on my own use of Brevo, i think their smtp response time is pretty swift and fast. So there is no delay is sending mails

We use Brevo for the sending of all newsletters and transactional emails from our store. We also use Brevo live chat to interact with customers to give them assistance if they need it.

Brevo is a great all in one suite for websites that want control of their newsletter campaigns. It is great for e-commerce stores with large customer databases that want the ability to reach their customers reliably and at a good cost point.

We use Brevo as a main email marketing tool to inform our customers on various investment EU and national opportunities. It proved to be a very helpful tool in reaching potential leads and increased also our sales. We had a very large database of emails and we had a problem on how to effectively manage them and use them as best and efficient as possible. Previously we have tried also other e-mail marketing platforms however the decision to use Brevo instead of them proved to be the best!!!

In my opinion Brevo could be applied in a vast amount of sectors and seems to be appropriate in any type of business segment.

I use Brevo for everything!
I maintain my contacts, Email Marketing, Email Automation, and Booking Meetings - managing my calendar and the CRM Sales Funnel, it also integrates with my email.
The product is awesome and so is the support... what more is there to say.
I was having a look at HubSpot and they charge $500 per month and I am currently paying $75 per month with Brevo.
It has been quick and easy to get up and running. My only wish is for an app so I can manage my contacts on the go.

We were faced with the challenge that our previous provider had adjusted its business model and reduced the number of contacts in our tariff. This put us on a new search and directly highlighted the first feature of Sendinblue positively: No limitation to contacts, but to sent emails. So basically a traffic-based billing, which is very convenient for us. We use the software to generate newsletters and marketing automation campaigns for customers generated from our WooCommerce store. Special challenges as an online store in Germany are data protection and users' rights to information.
  • Compliance with GDGVO/GDPR

  • The support could be a little faster.
  • The WordPress / WooCommerce plugins could be revised.
  • There is no plugin to bring product data into the system, for example to generate products in the newsletter. These have to be built manually.
Very many of the other providers place little importance on GDPR compliance, server location, security and information requirements. This is very well solved here. As a company in Germany, we have very strict regulations regarding the handling of customer data and Sendinblue places much more value on this than other providers. I would describe the functions as standard in the industry, but with very good usability and well thought out. The templates are also very nice. Very nicely solved is the possibility to use the service as SMTP service for transactional mails and also the preview and documentation of new mailings are very good!

We use Sendinblue to send emails to our clients.
  • It's very easy to use, even for the ones who have no experience on direct email campaigns.
  • Their website loads very quick which make things less stress.
  • Easy to track information with external tools like Google
  • To create a list is very simple! But once you have deleted one theres no way to undo it. It'd be good to allow users to undo actions, or keep the deleted lists on a trash for a while
We were using a different system before where things were very complicated to manage. Sendinblue have made our lives easier from the moment we set up the account. In addition, I would like to highlight they have competitive price.

For the other hand, I do think there would be a way to go back in case you have deleted a list. This happened to me once, and their team informed there's nothing they can do.

I use Sendinblue for the post-sale of my brand. Solve the communication and we can have better service and closer to our customers. It's easy to use, good templates and adjusts to the needs we have at the communication level. We have no more than 300 clients, so, Sendinblue is perfect to share news, tips and that kind of information for free.
