Clean and user-friendly interface: Reviewers have consistently praised the clean, simple, and easy-to-use user interface of UberConference. Many users have found the interface to be streamlined, intuitive, and easy to navigate and understand.

Easy setup for new users: Several reviewers have appreciated the web-based platform's straightforward setup process, which makes it accessible even for new users. The ease of sign-up and intuitive use of the platform allow beginners to quickly get started without any complexity.

Reliable customer support: Users have expressed their satisfaction with UberConference's reliable and responsive customer support. Many reviewers consider the troubleshooting process to be straightforward, and they appreciate the excellent support provided by UberConference.

Confusing User Interface: Some users find the user interface of UberConference to be confusing, resulting in a learning curve for new clients. The complexity of navigating through the platform has been mentioned by several reviewers as a drawback.

Difficulty with Screen Sharing: Users have expressed frustration with the screen share function while hosting meetings on UberConference. While it is easy for presenters to share their screen, some reviewers have mentioned that asking potential customers to share their screen requires them to go through multiple steps, which can be challenging for those who are not tech-savvy.

Lack of Video Conferencing: Several users have criticized the functionality of UberConference due to its lack of video call capabilities. They feel that adding video conferencing would greatly enhance the platform's features and make it more competitive compared to other conferencing services.

Based on user reviews, the three most common recommendations for UberConference are to try out UberConference, especially the free version. Users find it simple and easy to use, with crisp clear conferencing and screen controls. They recommend using UberConference for small teams and remote work, although they caution that the call quality may suffer with a large number of participants. Additionally, users suggest exploring other options for larger conferences or webinars, while acknowledging that UberConference is one of the best conferencing tools they've used. They recommend trying out the free version first to see if it meets your needs and taking advantage of a trial period. It's worth noting that some users also provide specific tips for optimizing the experience, such as ensuring participants have the correct PIN number and URL for screen sharing, using Chrome when possible, and upgrading to bypass PIN issues. Overall, users appreciate UberConference's ease of use, call quality, and configuration options compared to other conferencing software.

Companies can't remove reviews or game the system. Here's why

UberConference has been our preferred platform for screen shares because it's browser based. This doesn't require our customers to download a screen share app, which has led to issues for those customers we work with who are using old computers or operating systems. There can sometimes be issues with signal strength on UberConference compared to other tools like Zoom or RingCentral, but overall it's been fantastic.

Zoom is the winner of the space in my mind. It has all the features I want, works reliably, and the price is okay. Skype is a dumpster fire, has definite failures, and is a nightmare to admin. Hangouts is only suited to small companies and lacks recording, which is crucial.

Zoom and Cisco both prompt you to install their software, which I don't like. I don't like having to install plugins every time a new person invites me to a call. Uberconference doesn't do that.

Compared to built-in apps like Google Meet, or Hangouts UberConference offers higher quality connections and more features. Unlike Cisco WebEx or Zoom meetings (also bundled with Ring Central), it doesn't require any software to be installed in most cases which makes getting participants to join much easier. Automatic reminder calls through the system really help get everyone on the meeting, and since it's entirely browser-based all you need is Chrome to conduct or join meetings on the computer, unlike many competing applications.

Zoom is great for one on one communication and screen sharing, so we often use it for those purposes instead of UberConference. However we always choose UberConference over Google Hangouts, since we've had issues in the past with poor audio and video quality. UberConference does well with both of those for group calls.

UberConference is An excellent tool for communication. This program is simple and easy to use. A quick and easy way to hold meetings. If you need a simple and free conferencing system, you should try this platform.

  • Zoom
UberConference does not have a time limit, compared to the free version of Zoom. My high school reunion committee decided to use Zoom because that's what they know, though I would have chosen Facebook Messenger before Zoom had I taken Zoom for a test drive. UberConference's free features are miles above what Zoom offers for free.

Compared to other free services such as Join.me and Zoom.us, UberConference is better because it doesn't involve installing an extra app. Users can simply call in. In addition, the custom URL feature is an advantage, and upon creating a meeting, UberConference synchronizes with my calendar and phone number for text notifications. I selected UberConference because a colleague recommended it. Upon trying it out, I found no reason to look for anything else.

UberConference is not nearly as reliable or robust as these other programs, but it's free, and you have to pay for many of the others. Like many things, you get what you pay for. The quality is not as high, but the price can't be beaten. I also like that it has a web-based interface. Many of the other conferencing solutions require you to download and install an app, which is typically memory hogs and take awhile to load. UberConference allows you to connect using your phone and your web browser, which makes it quick and easy.

Uberconference is by far more reliable and has a better quality of service than the other providers in this space. I have never had a dropped call with Uberconference (unlike Skype and Hangouts). I do think they need to do more marketing because fewer people know about them than others and sometimes people decline to use the service so we have to use one of the other platforms to connect.

UberConference is easy to schedule and set up for both me and other parties to the conference. I like that it has an iPhone app, and that it recognizes my various phone numbers. UberConference is far more reliable from a sound quality perspective than ANY of its competitors. Again, the recording option is easy to setup and it is free. And I keep the same number and link to use regularly, not true of every service.

  • Zoom
UberConference and Zoom have overlapping functionality, but not 100%. UberConference does teleconferencing really well - it makes it very easy to call in and collaborate with a group of people. But for screen sharing, Zoom outshines UberConference. Zoom doesn't use as much bandwidth, it's easier to switch screen sharing back and forth, and it doesn't freeze as often as UberConference does. And then Zoom's video conferencing just takes remotely based work to a whole other level. We can have full team meetings with Zoom, meet with clients, train our staff, etc., and it works great.

We keep UberConference for the teleconferencing, but we basically use Zoom for everything else.

For a free service, this offers almost everything I need without the need to pay for the bells and whistles from products like WebEx. Sometimes, it's the simplicity that makes it so great to use. It requires virtually no planning and calls are started at the click of a mouse.

UberConference carries much less administrative overhead than WebEx or GoToMeeting. UberConference's interface is superior to free conference call because you can see who is on the call, mute individuals, and get a tracking report of who spent how much time speaking at the end of the call. The number of problem calls is minuscule compared to my experience with these other three products.
