Overall Satisfaction with 1ShoppingCart
This product was used within a single team as part of a larger organization. The main use for 1ShoppingCart was to provide a seamless checkout process across an eCommerce site experience from product ordering to cross-selling, marketing and other value added messaging. All of which can be managed by the user themselves as they go through the entire user experience on the website (signing up, adjusting preferences, etc.).
Pros
- Manages the ins and outs of a payment process
- Direct integration with many marketing platforms for quick data sharing
- Ability to add additional marketing messaging to the process and further cross-sell
Cons
- Cart personalization is a bit difficult for those that do not know HTML
- The templates in the tool are not very mobile friendly
- There are not enough template/theme options readily available
- Free trial offers you the chance to prove the concept out in a sandbox environment
- So much time saved from custom cart management previously
- Could be better ROI if the user did not need to know HTML/CSS/etc. in order to make edits
For this group, cost was a big indictor and reason why we decided to go with 1ShoppingCart. We wanted a solution that would lower our Dev costs (it somewhat did), but did not require the up front costs that a Shopify would need to transport our entire website experience to a new platform. 1ShoppingCart did what we needed it to do and made our checkout process that much cleaner!
