Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Virtual Office
My company has one employee and that's me. Therefore I need to have access to all of the 8x8 features whether I'm in the office or out. It automatically forwards my phone calls to my cell phone and allows me to change my phone settings even when working remotely.
- Remote access to my phone system to make changes or to use its many features.
- The ability to view voice mail transcripts - very helpful during meetings when listening is not an option.
- The new contacts search feature allows you type in partial names and all that apply pop up.
- Improve the interface for the mobile version to be more similar to the PC version.
- Forwarding phone calls is a bit cumbersome on the mobile version.
- Improve voice mail transcriptions on the mobile version.
- I needed something simple and inexpensive for a one-man operation.
- Monthly fee keeps going up though and that is concerning.
- Needed something that works from remote locations as this fits that requirement.
When looking at phone systems for my office several years ago, I reviewed three different systems that were recommended to me. The 8x8 sales person who made the original presentation was extremely helpful in identifying the things I needed to fit my particular single office situation. She didn't try to sell me more that I needed.
