Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign
I use ActiveCampaign to send emails, set-up automated campaigns, and as a customer management system.
It helps me to segment my audience, track their interactions with my business and perform marketing communications. I am not currently using the deals functionality, sms alerts or other advanced functionality.
It is used across the whole organisation.

- Email Builder - drag and drop and design functionality
- Very visual
- Integration with other platforms
- I sometimes find segmenting the way I want to difficult
- I've had issues with changes to automation. Once people are in them, it's troublesome
- I'm not always sure if I have set up the automations correctly
- I have noticed an increase in my list (around 5%) since using it.
- It integrates very well with my course platform Thinkific.
- The reporting functionality for campaigns is excellent.
I first used Mailchimp for about a year, then moved to and stayed with Infusionsoft for 7 years.
I recently switched over to ActiveCampaign because of good integration with Thinkific and because Infusionsoft was too expensive for my current business. I also didn't need the ecommerce aspect of Infusionsoft as I now use Stripe and Thinkific functionality to achieve the same.
