Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We switched from another ERP to Acumatica and went live June 1, 2021. We wanted Cloud software that would be flexible and allow us to improve our business goals. We use Acumatica to email our customer all of their transactional information. Pick Up Ready, Order shipped with tracking numbers, and Invoice copies. We have made changes to the views in Acumatica to give us instant information that helps us speed up our processes.
  • Creates Sales order and shipments very quickly.
  • Download many of the queries and reports to Excel
  • Helps us make sure we have the correct amount of Inventory
  • Automatically emails our customers Invoices and Statements
  • In the GL we would like to see more batching than individual entries
  • I would like be able to have a next button in the Inventory Summary so you can easily skip through it.
  • I would like more reports added to all of the modules.
  • We are able to monitory our Profit Margins Easily.
  • Employees have more time because the software automates processes so we have fewer employees.
  • As we use more data, the software cost increases.
Acumatica VAR/Partner
As a wholesaler we have goods that we purchase and the same goods are shipped out on demand from customers. We create Purchase Orders that we receive and easily enter customers order to ship the goods. We have our inventory stored by location so it easy to put away and retrieve for orders. We also use a shipping software which work very well and integrates with Acumatica.
Our old software Sage 300 resided on our servers. We wanted cloud based software. Sage did the job, but was clunky and old and took more time to work through our processes. Acumatica is flexible and we have been able to automate our processes. This would not be possible in Sage 300.

I think Acumatica completes well against all of the ERP software in the market. I like that fact that you can have as many people logged in as you need. This allow you to open many screens in Acumatica in Google which makes the software easier to use. We use the Distribution edition and that works well for us as we are wholesaler and have apx 5,000 products. The Inventory module is very deep and would serve any Wholesale Distributor Well.
