All you need for creating PDF documents
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC
Our company uses Adobe Acrobat DC for all of our reports we send to our clients. We used the program to make fallible forms that are sent to our clients to make data collection more coefficients. We use the organize pages tool often to compile and reorganize our reports and we use the edit and comment tools to make collaboration projects more efficient.
Pros
- The organize pages tool makes changing page orientations and locations easy.
- Having the option to lock a file is beneficial for our company to insure our document is not being tampered with by another user.
Cons
- Recently had issues adjusting the font size on one of the editable text documents. There is no quick and easy why to change the font, it felt like I had to really search for this simple edit I needed to make.
- Allows our company to create professional reports and easily reorganize the report without having to start over.
- Allows our company to edit PDF documents and create professional results without having to recreate a map or figure in a different program.
- Allows our clients to provide feedback and comments on the reports with the comment tool. These comments can be printed if desired, but also allow the comments to not be printed if more than one person needs to review the report or document.
Our company only uses Adobe Acrobat DC for our reports. We have used other versions in the past and found that using older versions or different PDF creator programs caused problems when we tried to combine documents; objects wouldn't convert right and letters would be missing. We decided to make Adobe Acrobat DC the program we use company-wide to eliminate the conversion issues. Since doing so, our company has reduced the amount of time it takes to finalize our reports.
