Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
All employees use Workforce Now. We use it for payroll, benefits, time and attendance and time off and payroll/HR reports. [it's also used for] keeping track of PTO balances, sending timecards to payroll for hourly paid employees, tax filing, and benefits tracking.
- Benefit tracking - direct connect to your healthcare provider.
- Reporting - they have a very robust reporting program that is easy to use.
- Time and Attendance - timecards are easy to work with and any problems on time cards are easy to find.
- Payroll processing - I have been using ADP for 10 years, and the ease of processing the payroll gets better with each upgrade. You can now make edits to the schedule and add additional payroll cycles from the dashboard.
- Payroll and Time & Attendance don't communicate very well in regards to the time off balances.
- Customer service is usually very good, but you still may have to talk to more than one person to resolve a problem. For example, Payroll and Time & Attendance, your problem may be affecting both of these, but the Time & Attendance customer service people don't know how the payroll side works and vice-versa.
- Huge time savings on updating benefits cost changes to payroll.
- Tracking of PTO was previously a manual job and has saved a good amount of time with automation.
My organization has saved up to 50 hours per month. -
- Timecards being approved on-line and quickly and accurately uploaded to payroll.
- Time off balances automatically updating when a PDO is sent to payroll.
- Employee payroll deductions for benefits only made in one place and updated on each employee enrolled automatically.
- Employee access to pay statements and ability to make changes to personal info, federal tax withholding, and direct deposit accounts via Employee Self Service.
We have been with ADP for over 30 years and the companies we reviewed and acquired references for just didn't measure up to ADP Workforce Now, either with tax filing or ease of use and features.
