Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

I am using AlphaSense to track competitive developments and industry trends. I am able to receive alerts on companies and topics that are of interest to me. I can also check the customized Dashboard display in real-time. The insights can help us to stay ahead of competitive developments and also track innovation and technology developments in our market.

Customizability leads to complexity and narrowing down to what you need can require changing settings. The support personnel is helpful in assisting with customization. An example - the support team helped me to set up an alert for new 510k clearances to be automatically emailed to me. No insight into how it compares to other platforms.
We are able to keep track of the market and competitive developments using company ticker and keyword search which saves the analyst time and keeps our management team up to date on recent developments. We can respond to new products and market changes more quickly with timely information.
This is the platform that was in use when I joined the company. It has been a few years since I used ONESOURCE and there is some overlap but I have not used it recently.

It is well suited if you are tracking public companies - you get access to analyst research and interviews, but it is less useful for private companies. Sometimes they are picked up in the analyst research but info is limited. It is well suited for tracking the US and global companies - not sure if other geographies are covered as extensively.
