Overall Satisfaction with Asana
We originally used Asana across the whole organization and segregated projects by department. The problems it helped address was communication and archiving of our issues. So, for example, if we needed to reference an issue that came up 2 years ago, we could easily search Asana, find it, and see the full history of that issue, including any attachments. This was one of my favorite features of the service.
- The interface is intuitive, which makes it a breeze to use.
- It gives a high level of visibility into each project with its calendars, user tagging and email notifications. I always know when something is updated and can see the changes right away.
- The ability to tag everything made it easy for us to organize our projects to match our internal work flows.
- We feel like it was missing some aspects of project management; specifically an Agile workflow for software development teams.
- The dashboard doesn't seem to convey much useful information.
