Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis

We use Ascentis/Nova time for time and attendance across our company. We also use it for PTO accruals and requests. We also use it for FMLA and expense reimbursements.
  • Tracking time and attendance
  • Setting accruals with limits
  • Tracking accrual approvals
  • Mobile app could be more user friendly
  • Accrual visibility for employees could be better
  • With bio-metric authentication, there is less time theft.
  • But, the cost of clocks is high for what they are.
Ascentis/Novatime was the most compatible with Oracle for our usage. They are able to work with our difficult pay system.
Support is lacking when it comes to the time it takes for resolution. We are a weekly payroll processing company and need fast, real-time support.

Oracle Cloud HCM, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), Microsoft Teams
It is great for time and attendance and easy for users. Accrual visibility for employees is not optimal. It is hard for them to see what is available NOW.
