Atera for Small Businesses
Overall Satisfaction with Atera
Robintree is a managed service company and we use Atera extensively to manage our customer's IT infrastructure. We perform automatic patching, driver updates, and remote help desk through the Atera system. Additionally, we run system audits on customer's fleets to find pain points and offer resolutions. Without Atera our company wouldn't be able to function in the managed service business.
Pros
- Customized system alerts
- Remote support
- Reports
- Ticketing
- Ease of use
Cons
- Categorizing tickets from specific sources automatically.
- Ability to customize the view of the customers tab.
- Ability to see entire device name in the iOS app.
- Able to consolidate all customers onto one platform.
- Able to managed more customers, increasing profit while providing competitive pricing.
- Atera price point has enabled my company to double in size in a short time frame.
- ConnectWise Automate (formerly LabTech)
Atera is able to do everything ConnectWise can do for a Windows/Mac environment. Atera's unlimited seats for one price is a game-changer for startup MSPs. ConnectWise is unaffordable for startups looking to grow their customer base. Constantly having to shore up pricing for growing customers, put ConnectWise out of the running for my company. ConnectWise is not a low-cost complete package, every added feature increases its cost. Adding additional seats costs with ConnectWise but not Atera. Atera has unlimited seats.
Upon first use, I was able to dive right in and start impacting my customers. Automation has made it possible to manage more customers without having to hire more staff. The ability to onboard additional customers without augmenting staff has been a game-changer for growth. Atera is easy to use and their support engineers are prompt and always helpful.
Not being nickeled and dimed to death is a pro-growth approach Atera seems to be taking. One platform for remote access, billing, reporting, and patching cuts down on the learning curve for MSP software. We can focus on learning new technology our customers are implementing instead of keeping up with different aspects of the software to run a business.
