Overall Satisfaction with Avalara

It is used by a billing department. It managed all tax requirements that need to be charged to our customers when it comes to invoicing. However, it's not flexible enough to use, especially when connected to the ProntoXi ERP accounting system. There is almost no support from Avalara on this Pronto ERP software.

  • Helpful staff when help is needed.
  • Price may a bit too expensive for our business size.
  • ERP software: Pronto Xi
It is very difficult since there is background programming involved to connect Avalara with Pronto Xi ERP system. Little support or resources on the Avalara website if anything has gone wrong.
In my opinion, it is easy to use going forward even though the first time is quite stressful. We use Avalara Tax on a daily basis when it comes to raising invoices for our customers.

We do not have other choices that suitable for our Pronto Xi ERP system. Avalara is the one.
Avalara has helped our business to calculate the tax automatically when it comes to billing. I have no comment on when it is less appropriate.

Cross-Border Tax Compliance with Avalara

Yes, Avalara has maintain compliance across state line in light of new economic nexus laws by making us aware of the potential nexus in our business. Avalara has assisted us by keeping us up to date with current tax law legislation ensuring we are ahead of the comnpliance and necessary requirement.
We haven't got into this stage just yet however looking into expansion in future which I strongly believe Avalara will be helping us down the track. They are very helpful in the past and will be now and near future.
