Overall Satisfaction with BigCommerce

We needed an online shop which could display our products in the best possible way, integrate with our payment services and that was easy and intuitive to set up and use. BigCommerce did all of that.

  • Smooth integrations with Braintree
  • Excellent analytics data
  • It would be nice if cart abandonment follow-up was part of the standard package - we can't justify the increased cost.

BigCommerce integrates with our email system, Get Response, so buyers are added automatically. Sadly, it doesn't integrate yet with our CRM which is Less Annoying CRM.
  • It's enabled us to sell directly online.
  • It's saved time because of ease of use.
  • Conversion rates are improved across all products.
We looked at Shopify at the same time, but BigCommerce suited our needs better - we trialed both.
[It's] easy to set up the first online shop. The packages which include many extra features might be too expensive for a start-up. Check [to see] if your payment gateway is supported before signing up. Setting up discount codes is easy, and intuitive. Dealing with taxes takes some thinking about if you are outside the US, so invest time in planning how that will work.
