We use Blackbaud eTapestry to track charitable gifts, run reports, provide receipts and thank you notes, track contacts, electronically email constituents, receive gifts, and more. I work for a Christian school and we have a collaborative mindset/model. One problem Blackbaud eTapestry addressed for us was the fact we had numerous users spread over a geographic area. Blackbaud eTapestry has unlimited users, so we were able to get all the people who needed access, access without breaking the bank.
- The help desk is excellent.
- It is malleable and you can adjust this product to suit your needs.
- It has been a very consistent product.
- It can be very difficult to run reports.
- The DIY pages are hard to navigate and very difficult to add pictures.
- Gift entry.
- Gift receipting.
- Running mailing lists and reports.
- Blackbaud eTapestry is one of the best, most cost-effective fund development products I've used.
Raiser's Edge is a Blackbaud product. It is one of the reasons we went with Blackbaud eTapestry. Raiser's Edge was too much for what the school needed. Raiser's Edge is great but would be way too expensive for us to use as a collaborative of schools.
