Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

I use Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT on a daily basis to record my action working with donors. Planning, researching, and communicating with donors is made easy with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT. Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT's database information feeds right into Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT making my job, as a Development Officer, much easier and more efficient. The convenient web-based product allows me quick access on the go too. I can use my smartphone to get into Edge NXT whenever I need info on the go.
  • It is quick and easy to look up contact information, giving history, and graduation year in the office or on the go!
  • It's a convenient location to story history, notes, and future or past actions.
  • Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT is extremely easy to use and powerful enough to meet all your needs.
  • I'd like to see Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT have more complete giving history on each profile page.
  • Edge NXT is lacking when it comes to planning tools. Sure, it's easy to add future actions to your calendar, but Edge NXT doesn't offer ideas for future actions.

  • Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT is worth it's weight in gold. The web-based Edge NXT is a great tool to have in the Development Officers quiver.
  • The wealth screening tools same us time and money. By focusing us on major gift prospects.
  • This tool allows us to be laser focused on high quality constituents. Saving our organization thousands of dollars each year.
The analytics and data intelligence of Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT keep me in the game when it comes to high value players. I'm able to confidently use the information I need to locate and contact the major gift prospects in an efficient and cost effective manner. Without Edge NXT, I'd be forced to trudge through the database constantly to identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, steward, and renew our constituents. Edge NXT is a total game changer!

The training was good, thorough, and efficient. I don't have any complaints about the online training. As someone that was brand new to fundraiser, I feel it prepared me very well for my work. As a person that enjoys in person human interaction, it was lacking in that area. BUT, as I said, it worked well for me.

I think Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT has more capabilities than what I am using and I'd already recommend it to my whole family, our friends, their pets, and all of my colleagues. The interface is easy to understand, use, and leverage to move the work of fundraising forward. I am excitedly recommending this tool to any and all fundraising organizations. From a fundraiser for higher education, this tool get's an A++!

Using Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

8 - Our Prospect Researcher uses it, our Director of Stewardship uses it and the workflow tool, all of our development people use it constantly, our Planned Giving Director often refers to it, and our Database Manager using it to make sure the changes she makes are appropriately displayed. Shoot, even our Director of Alumni Relations uses it for events, communications, and recognition.
2 - I'd say the two people on staff that support Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT are our Database Manager and our Prospect Researcher. They're the ones the rest of us go to in order to get our questions answered and provide helpful hints on how to complete tasks more efficiently. The neat part is, even through we have these people here to help, we don't often need help because it is such an inherently user friendly piece of software to use.

It is a fantastic tool that works for everyone within our organization. After the initial upload of files, we've been hooked! As the inevitable staff turn over happens the transitions have been seamless, the current staff work extremely well with and through Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT, and we've been invested in Blackbaud products for years!
