Overall Satisfaction with Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud

In my organization, we help to implement Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud for our clients. The use cases that Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud address include replacing existing CDPs by integrating with upstream data sources via csv or API, web and mobile SDK integration, setting up email and push campaigns, managing consents, creating dashboards and reports, data exports.

  • Very easy to test campaigns
  • not able to deploy certain configurations between instances, in my experience
  • not enough granularity in setting user rights in my opinion
  • two step verification with images is very inconsistent to pass in my opinion
i have had to contact the Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud support team multiple times, and 9 times our of 10 their response time has been more than adequate. They are very knowledgeable and escalate if needed. On certain edge cases they have gone above and beyond to assist and provide workable solutions
Having Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud’s AI and analytics capabilities does provide the possibility to automate certain marking workflows, as well as analyze and segment 3rd party data etc. though in the use cases I've worked on so far, there has been limited opportunities to try them out properly. Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud does seem to offer very exciting AI-powered tools though which could well be interesting to implement.
Compared to Adobe Campaign, Bloomreach Commerce Experience Cloud is a much more modern tool more in line with the latest technologies. It does have a much narrower toolset though, but what limits it in one way allows it to concentrate and deliver very good results. Further to that, by its nature it does have a much shallower learning curve.

It is very well suited to companies with simple to medium level complexity communication strategies. There are certain limitations with regards to how scenarios (i.e. workflows) are built which would make certain complex campaigns quite difficult to replicate, or would require complicated workarounds. It is not really best used to manipulate to a high degree data. On the other hand it is very easy and fast to set up with an easy to use UI. Email templating using Jinja works well in general.
