Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
We used Bluejeans to replace the original conferencing system. It was used across the entire organization, in every office: US, Brazil, India, and Europe. Bluejeans was primarily used for internal meetings, though for those outside of sales, it was also used for meetings with external team members and consulting companies.
- Video Conferencing
- Mobile Client
- Outlook integration
- Reliability
- Supporting Large Attendance Conferences
- Mobile Deep Linking on IOS. Everytime you click on a meeting link, it takes you to a bluejeans page that asks you to install the app, unless you already have it.
- Engineering Employee Satisfaction went down
- Supporting Customers and External Partners was more problematic
- Reinvesting in alternatives
- Slack and Zoom
Of all the conferencing software we used, Bluejeans is the lowest scoring from an overall perspective. There are nice features, such as creating a persistent meeting room, and moderator less meetings, but the overall experience is problematic. We have coined the term "Bluejeans tax" to account for that 5-10 minute overhead required in getting our meetings going.
