Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans

BlueJeans is being used across the department as with the dedicated VC hardware it offers a simple and high-quality experience. The fact that it can be used on laptops/desktops and mobiles instead of more consumer-grade offerings like Skype is a great advantage.

We trialed several offerings and BlueJeans was the easiest to set up and manage and worked throughout firewalls without needing any changes.

Pros

  • Easy setup
  • Worked through firewall without changes
  • High quality video and audio

Cons

  • No major issues found
  • It is more costly than some of the other options, but has needed less work from the IT team for meetings
Works better with VC hardware, and users didn't like the audio quality on WebEx via the PC client
Some of the options for things like recording could be easier to manage
BlueJeans has worked well with our existing VC hardware and is simple enough that on laptops/PCs etc., the users don't really need any support to join meetings.
