Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans
We use BlueJeans on a global scale, for conference calls between employees in different locations and time zones, or with customers and partners. We're an R&D company working on projects with many countries, and creating agrotech software. We have partners all around the world, so a reliable video conferencing tool is important to us, and it is influential on our our credibility.
- Switching from one camera or one microphone to another while the call is running proved to be quite easy to do.
- Good connection quality.
- On the administrative side, BlueJeans's dashboard provides useful information to understand what happened when a video conference went wrong. From which side, whether the problem is audio-based or video-based, etc.
- Providing a Linux based native app, compatible with Debian/Ubuntu would be a plus.
- Providing a way to connect through the web browser without adding any plug-in would help too. Some users in big companies have a professional PC locked, without the possibility to add the Firefox/Chrome plug-in.
- We had teams in different locations which had to speak on a daily basis (for Scrum rituals, for instance). BlueJeans helped for that matter.
BlueJeans won for its Linux support and the opportunity to have a reliable connection. I also could manage users, connect through web client only if needed and it doesn't require my users to create an account.
