Overall Satisfaction with Celonis

We are implementing Celonis in different customers. Most of the implementations start with departamental needs and processes. In banking, Credit Applications is the entry process. In other industries we are seeing Logistics, Maintenance and Customer-Facing processes as leading areas.

Main business problem is lack of visibility of how processes really run and the impact bottlenecks, rework, and compliance issues have both operationally and financially for the company.
  • Visibility: the reality of how processes work.
  • Impact (in time, resources and money) of bottlenecks, rework, and process deviation.
  • Compliance: how do processes deviate and most common deviations.
  • Pricing - more alternatives.
  • Language availability.
  • Customer success stories.
  • Our customers have seen an important decrease in rework activities and FTEs, thus reducing costs.
  • Our customers have been able to better allocate resources, allowing them to increase their revenue.
  • Our customers have gained end-to-end visibility of processes that run across multiple departments, systems and applications and have been able to create correlation analysis of the impact activities throughout the whole process.
Celonis’ EMS is more powerful and versatile. Implementation takes a fraction of the time compared to Bizagi and its focus on business process mining allows it to offer better analytical capabilities. This, added to its automation capabilities, put it on a league of its own.

We have evaluated BI solutions, low code solutions, RPA solutions, but Celonis is the only we have seen can offer end-to-end business process mining capabilities which can work on a standalone basis or be used as an orchestrator for other more specific applications.
  1. SAP Migration - Celonis has been integral in understanding real execution of processes and redesigning them before migrating to S4Hana or Ariba solutions.
  2. Process Visibility - Celonis has been integral to our customers’ digital transformation strategies by allowing them to understand the real impact of specific steps within the processes and their integration with new tools.
  3. Backend optimization - as most digital transformation initiatives focus on improving how back end operations work and searching for ways to optimize them, Celonis has become the backbone of the digital transformation initiatives of many of our customers.
As Peter Drucker said: “if you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it.” That’s the magic of Celonis. It has helped our customers measure key KPIs related to their processes and their impact on the rest of the operation.

There are several scenarios where Celonis is well suited. First and foremost those that are related to the understanding and improvement of processes. Those related to the optimization of operations that involve different people, areas and systems. Those where everything thinks they know how a process works but no one really knows how it really works.

Second, those instances where you want to understand root causes and impacts of certain activities.

Third, when you are planning to redesign processes, migrate tools or transform operations.

The secret is visibility. Real-time visibility based on granular information which can be analyzed in detail.
