Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
We use Dayforce company-wide to help with recruiting, employee engagement, and payroll and HR. It helps us give our users (employees) access to a wide range of information in one place as well as contains the data we need in day to day operations.
Pros
- Ease of finding information.
- Keeping a database of past applicants in the talent community.
- Frequent updates to add new features.
Cons
- Some changes in updates are hard to adjust to.
- Configuring reports can be tricky.
- Implementing new modules can take longer than necessary.
- Our employees in payroll and HR spend far less time on the day to day operations.
Dayforce allows us to have state tax forms completed in the system to ensure accuracy. It also tracks time and applies overtime as needed.
Being able to look at a previous employee's history before rehiring has been helpful to avoid bad situations that could have come up if that information had not been available. We can keep track of employees transferring between departments and the frequency and reason for them doing so. Our users are able to get accurate information on their own instead of having to track down someone else to tell them.
The information in these modules flow to each other to make sure that you have real-time information. There is never a worry that your data is outdated or inaccurate because we maintain it ourselves and Dayforce makes sure it shows in the correct places. Other solutions don't have that integration and could miss important details.
