Cisco Security

Apart from the obvious regulatory compliance and risk management, its also to meet customer expectations and future proofing the company from sophisticated attacks. With AI in the picture its becoming increasigly important to invest in cyber security. The cost, disruption, and ongoing reputational damage that come with a cyberattack can be disastrous for businesses which any organisation wants to avoid at all cost
Apart from being a strong and established customer for cisco product and services, it was very apparent when we started doing POC that Cisco product suite is much more mature, adaptable and enjoys tech support to a level which currently cannot be matched by competition. Also buying more into the same suite makes it easier to administer the product.
short answer - Single agent <> multiple uses
It does offer a unified experience for end users and integrates well with cisco stack.
It helps us achieve our goal to provide secure access from anywhere and many device types.
Given that it integrates with umbrella it provides better visibility into security events and insights into user/device telemetry
As mentioned earlier it helps bad actors get sophisticated but on flip side it helps us delve thru troves of telemetry, alerts and detections from various sources and gives us a list of alerts which are of importance and reduce noise.

Overall, the future of cybersecurity with AI promises to be a dynamic and ever-evolving landscape. While challenges exist, the potential benefits of AI are undeniable. By harnessing the power of AI, we can build more robust and resilient defenses against cyber threats, safeguarding our critical infrastructure, sensitive data, and digital lives.
