Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Teams (formerly Cisco Spark)

Webex Teams is primarily being used to integrate with the Cisco Webex Spark Boards, as well as to provide (and replace the existing) teleconferencing solution. While we're still in the process of rolling out the product to our end users, the few early adopters have started using it for its chat & screen sharing functionality to better collaborate over distance.
  • Teleconferencing is easy.
  • Chatting with a group of users is simple.
  • Screensharing with the Spark Board is seamless.
  • Integration with existing conference solutions can be hard.
  • Teaching users how to connect to Webex can intimidate them.
  • Constant rebranding of the Webex product is frustrating.
  • Improved user satisfaction for conferencing.
  • Higher percentage of remote-access users.
  • Fewer dollars spent on "shadow-IT" purchasing new conference systems.
Cisco Webex Teams blows Skype for Business out of the water! All of the features of Skype for Business are done better and perform faster when performed by Webex Teams. As far as the comparison to Slack, they're pretty close - though I do prefer the video calling in Webex Teams. Microsoft Teams may have the better product, as it's integration with Office 365 is quite good.
Cisco has a good support team, but I often find that they hide behind their Service Level Agreement. Any time you e-mail Cisco technical assistance they tend to assess whether or not the problem is an emergency in the first few minutes and follow up by taking three days to respond to your e-mails.

Do you think Webex App delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Webex App's feature set?

Yes

Did Webex App live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Webex App go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Webex App again?

Yes

Cisco Webex Teams is very well suited to a group where you need to be able to collaborate like you're in the same room, but do not have the ability to do that. I would suggest this for businesses that are medium-sized (~00 employees) or larger. My rule of thumb would be that you need to be managing your own VoIP solution for this to be cost-effective.
