Overall Satisfaction with Cision PR Software

My past employer used Cision to find contacts and build lists around a particular topic. It saved us time from doing google searches to find the emails of reporters.

  • Updating contact information
  • Not as user-friendly as it could be
  • The cost for multiple logins
  • Helps us to move more swiftly throughout our business.
I have mainly used Cision, but tried Metlwater briefly. I can't say that Cision was better but I was more familiar so I stuck with it.
It's suited when you need contacts quickly or to find bios for current contacts. It's also great for locating the address to particular media offices. It's less appropriate for monitoring, but it works if that's all you have.
