The entire organization uses CMiC, from the Architects to the accountants and even our HR uses it to track work hours. It streamlines all of our processes and saves us time every day!

Pros and Cons

It manages the flow of RFIs and Submittals, keeps them organized as to due date, ball in court, and can be used as a database searching whichever parameter you wish.
Communication between the owner, contractor, and architect can be kept on record effortlessly.
It creates data charts and exports to Excel easily with little formatting needed once exported.

It could be compatible with Newforma.
If it could recognize a repeat RFI or overlapping information.
If it linked to my Revit model.

Expedited review of RFI and Submittals kept us running on time.

The owner selected CMiC. It is a good program that has linked several software systems to expedite all communication and correspondence.

It has helped our workflow. We have decreased lulls in the processes and saved time. With a fast-track project like ours, this is so important.

CMiC Product Scalability

I have used it on one project from start and we have not finished yet. CMiC has helped us create protocols that gives us the ability to track and maintain records across many offices and entities.

The RFI and Submittal sections, as well as the communications sections, of CMiC Construction Platform streamline many of the processes that can become arduous just to track each of the three. We use it to track responses and keep a record simultaneously.

CMiC does a good job in streamlining daily activities and expediting processes.
