Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)
Our support team uses both the Access function for our managed clients as well as the Support function for on-demand support. We are planning on further testing the Meeting function and will potentially replace our Sales team's current solution as well.
- The best thing is how smooth the interface runs on just about every system we've connected to, which provides an excellent user experience on both ends.
- The shared toolbox is very handy to allow commonly used tools to be easily deployed, as well as the ability to easily send and receive files.
- The built-in commonly used commands are very handy for controlling the system directly.
- The web interface is very slick, allowing easy connection for the end-users as well as helpful info for our technicians.
- The frame on the window is not a native Windows frame, which has its own benefits but doesn't always work properly with 3rd party programs such as window managers.
- I do wish we could maximize the window (for zooming) without it going full screen and covering the taskbar.
- We have saved a lot of money from our previous solution.
- We no longer get locked out of sessions when the end-user is connected via RDP and locks or minimizes their screen.
- The consistency of connections and the quick install of the plugin allows us to complete support sessions much quicker and with fewer issues.
- The customization of the web/landing page is very helpful for our branding efforts.
WebEx is where we experienced many of the issues described previously, trouble connecting, longer loading times, etc. Join.me was our go-to alternative but since switching to ConnectWise we have not needed an alternative and it helps our image look much more professional.
