Overall Satisfaction with Constant Contact
Constant Contact is being used to send out targeted e-blasts for local events at our chamber of commerce. Largely, this is sent to our subscribers, but it is also shared on social media. This does add additional subscribers who follow us on Facebook and Twitter. Setting up campaigns, surveys, and events is made easier with the help of Constant Contact.
Pros
- Templates are a great tool to send out a quick, efficient e-blast without exerting too much time.
- It is user-friendly, in that the website is easy enough to navigate that even a novice can manage to send out a fluent campaign to subscribers.
- Works across all email providers (e.g. Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, etc.) without having strange formatting issues, making the email campaign look unprofessional and disorganized.
Cons
- Currently, I do not have any issues with Constant Contact. Everything is very straightforward, making little room for error.
- Improving the speed of the website is the only criticism, though this could be due to faulty internal internet connections, rather than the website itself.
- As stated before, the templates increase time efficiency.
- Contactology
Constant Contact easily competes with Contactology with the user-friendly dashboard and features. The new layout of the improved Contactology platform "Campaigner" does rival the new layout of Constant Contact. I have not used Campaigner enough to make any significant comparisons between the two.
